I know what you're thinking (I don't have time to do this).

But, you agree that you need to be creating content every day, right?

And you're committed to the concept of posting every day being like "brushing your teeth" but with a return on investment like that of your best performing investment account, right?

So then here in lies the dilemma, your content needs to LOOK GOOD. And sorry, but no other person in the world is going to care how good it looks other than you.

NOT your interns, NOT your designers, NOT your friends, co-workers or administrative assistants or other staff.

Now, this is where you needing to learn how to use Canva comes into play.

It's WAY faster and more efficient than you delegating this responsibility to one of your staff members, or hiring an outside design firm to get it done.

We're talking about simple support graphics for your blog and social media posts.

Canva is perfect. It gives you templates, imagery, icons, the ability to upload your logos, photos, etc.

In the time it takes for you to articulate what you want to a designer, or another staff member who I know you're thinking about delegating this to right now as you read this, you could have designed 5-10 graphics for your posts.

I know you've all gotten to where you are today by effectively delegating, but - believe it or not - this is NOT something you should delegate.

Avoid wasting your staff's time that could be used working on other priorities. AND avoid the back-and-forth with them that wastes your time and builds contention as you build your content.

After all, you don't start brushing your teeth, then pause, go talk to someone, go back to the bathroom, spit, then go back to them and have them finish brushing your teeth and and give you the mouthwash, do you?

I mean, when I say Executive/Small Business Owner blogging should be like brushing your teeth every morning, I really mean that you shouldn't need anyone else's help, and it should take you an hour or less. Otherwise you're creating barriers to make it less likely to happen.

With Canva, you can own it all. You can support your written work with perfectly sized imagery to go with all of your social media posts.
