This project is proof that any side-hustle, start-up or post-retirement career can be successful using a super simple, easy and effective WordPress website.

This one was also special to me because I got to work with my father, Dan Hickey of Hickey Leadership Group.

After a 30+ year career as an educator, principal, teacher and basketball coach, he started his own consultancy for coaching principals and administrators.

But more than that, he wanted to blog every week, and create a social media presence for him to share his thoughts.

So, we created HickeyLeadershipGroup.com, a simple, yet effective WordPress Website. As his business grew, he added a live event, and to sell tickets, we used WooCommerce, which worked like a charm - even for his non-tech savvy audience.

On top of that, we needed to voice-activate the WordPress website for Alexa and Google Assistant, while allowing our client to manage all content, including the Alexa Skill and Google Action, from the backend of the WordPress website.

The proof is in the data, as web traffic and engagement increased significantly.
