Every marketing person should check out Google Analytics for 30 minutes every month. There is so much valuable data to look for, and if you can focus on a core set of things, it will be a good use of your time. Don't get sucked in or fall down the rabbit hole. Look for which pages have high and low bounce rates, which marketing channels are bringing in the highest time on site and pages per visit, and eventually, which channels and tactics are driving the most conversions.

Marketing directors and marketing department personnel, and heck even IT personnel, I implore you to spend 30 minutes a month in Google Analytics - that's all it takes to get extremely valuable data.

If nothing else, you'll look smarter in meetings. 🙂

Stop the guessing! Data Over Opinions.

Have a great day!
