Small Business Owners and Marketers, did you know you can actually call Google? There once was a time when you couldn't but the world's top search engine has actually made itself pretty accessible.

I believe this is due to the fact that Google has become extremely self-aware to the following:

- People are now getting their information regularly from social media outlets like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. They're even going directly to apps like Medium and starting to bypass Google altogether. For this reason, Google Adwords is now starting to be referred to as part of a "traditional digital" - aka - the equivalent of the outdoor billboard in the digital space.

- Google has about 27 products, among them - Google My Business, Google Adwords, Google Adwords Express, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools (Search Console) and even Google Data Studio, to name a few. In order for businesses to pay attention and stay engaged with everything else they have going on.

- Finally, Google is trying to make money. The more they make themselves accessible, they increase their chances of businesses engaging with them and spending dollars on their platforms.

- In fact, more on this later, but Google has even started reaching out directly to small businesses and midsize companies pitching their "accelerator program."
