I've written quite a bit about why your business needs to have a presence on Alexa-enabled devices. Whether it's from a content marketing, storytelling and communications channel like an easy-to-build Alexa Flash Briefing Skill, or via extending your application's functionality into the Voice Realm through a real Alexa Skill, you need to evaluate your the whitespace for garnering users' attention through voice.

One client recently asked us to create them an Alexa Flash Briefing Skill for internal communications with their board members, which leads me to believe this kind of effort would work well to communicate internally with sales teams, franchisees, and any kind of large staff. Rather than ask people to read, allow them to sit at their desks and ask Alexa for updates from the team.

Not only did St. Louis University order 2,300 Echo Dots for all campus housing, meaning 2,300+ more young professionals entering the workforce will have familiarity and affinity to voice-activated digital content, marketing and software, but Facebook just announced a new AI-based video chat screen that comes fully loaded with - you guessed it - ALEXA baby!

This means hundreds of millions more potential Alexa users were just announced.

We've also been working on building our own Alexa-based business intelligence dashboard that will make it far easier for marketers and small business owners to check their Google Analytics data by just asking Alexa for them rather that having to log in and navigate the platform.
