Over the last couple years, when I have talked to clients and prospective clients about Facebook Ads, there has been an immediate sense of disappointment and skepticism.

To those that don't immediately get it, I always show the data, proving - beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their audience is on Facebook.

Then, it recently dawned on me, that I don't think people really realize that Facebook Ads Manager can allow you to deploy sponsored Ads to almost anywhere on the Internet. A common misconception - I've realized recently through experience with clients - is that Facebook Ads are simply Facebook Ads. They're not.
