Why would you want to block some URLs from Google? Well, you know your website is powerful enough to have certain pages like client invoices, perhaps reports that you don't want made public, or even pages that should be password protected but aren't.

Another reason may be sitelinks. These are the links that show sometimes under your homepage in the search engine results.

Google pulls these links, you don't get to choose which show. And sometimes a link to a client portal shows up that doesn't make sense to be in your sitelinks.

Whatever your reason, here's how to block links from Google.
