What's up everybody? Paul Hickey here with your data-driven daily tip. I have good news for business owners and marketers. Google Ads has issued a credit for businesses that need COVID-19 relief.

The way that they've done that is, they've just sent out emails. Google Ads is reaching out to you because accounts that you manage receive an ad credit. We know that small and medium-sized businesses have been facing unique challenges as a result of COVID-19.

At the same time we also understand that many of these businesses have continued to rely on Google Ads to help them reach their customers.

So if you received this email you can click into the ads account with the number that is note that is given on the email and so I've done so here in the data-driven design ads manager account.

And I see this blue notification that I've been granted ad credits toward future spend for COVID-19 relief here's what happens when I click view credits.

I see that there are two businesses that I manage ads accounts for that have been granted a credit. One has been granted a $100 credit and the other has been granted a $300 credit.

I will say that the one that was granted a $300 credit has spent far more than any other account that I have worked with recently on Google Ads and so it looks like Google Ads is issuing credits to accounts who have spent a certain amount in the last year or several years and you can see it in your Google Ads account the credit has been automatically applied to your account and will begin immediately crediting your future spend activity after the date redeemed below.

Everybody, this has been your data-driven daily tip.

Thanks for reading, watching and listening, and have a great day!
