Several years ago, Google starting hiding most organic keyword data under "not provided" in Google Analytics.

If you go into Google Analytics and go to Acquisition, Channels, Organic Search, you will see that 98% of your keyword data will show under "not provided."

The way to get around this is to link Analytics to Webmaster Tools (now called Search Console), then go under Acquisition, Search Console, Queries to see exactly where your business shows on Google Organic Search Results. It shows keywords, rankings, impressions (how many times you showed for that term in said ranking spot) and clicks, with click through rate, of course.

  1. First, verify your site with Google Webmaster Tools / Search Console.
  2. Then, link your Search Console with Your Google Analytics Account (associate properties).
  3. Then, go to your Acquisition Reports, under Search Console, Queries to see your data. Below is what this looks like...
