We Know What You’re Thinking… How The Heck Can My Small Business Have A Podcast?

Rich Eisen, NPR and Joe Rogan aren’t the only people allowed to have successful podcasts. Sure, they might be the ones with the most listeners, and they might be the ones with some of the most entertainment value, but the reality is that any business should have their own podcast, especially small businesses.

We have led the charge helping small businesses create their own NON-FANCY PODCASTS (you don’t need a recording studio – actually all you need is your phone).

Our services is to get you set up and running so that all you have to do is open your phone and start talking about your business solutions, answering frequently asked questions from customers, talking about industry hot topics, or giving the latest DIY tips – press a button, and BOOM, your podcast is published and available immediately on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, 10+ more popular podcast apps, as well as Alexa, in the form of a flash briefing.

Yes, we can help you with audio content if you need it, but we want you to be self sufficient.

How We Do It…

  • We Set Up A Free Podcasting Account For You Via An Online Third Party Service

This service acts as your recording studio, allowing you to record directly via your phone or computer microphones. It also automatically publishes your podcast to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and 10+ other popular podcast apps.

  • You Can Email Us Voice Memo Recordings Each Week From Your Mobile Phone, and We Take Care of the Rest

WHAT IS AN ALEXA FLASH BRIEFING?

A Flash Briefing Skill is an audio RSS feed file that can either be published to the public in the Alexa Skills Store, for use by anyone with an Alexa Enabled Device, or it can be protected for use by specific U.S. Businesses Only.

Any user with an Alexa Enabled Device (and access to the Flash Briefing Skill if protected) can find it in the Alexa Skills Store and add it to their “Flash Briefing.”

The process of a user finding and adding an Alexa Flash Briefing Skill is best explained here.

Additionally, each Alexa Skill is given a “deep link” so that it can be easily promoted. For example, our Data Driven Daily Tip Alexa Skill can be found in the Alexa Skills Store and added to a Flash Briefing, or it can be added easily by visiting www.datadrivendaily.com, where you can see the deep link in the URL address bar.

Once added, an Alexa user simply says “Alexa, play my flash briefing” or “Alexa, what’s in the news?” and your content will be heard.

VOICE APPS FOR BUSINESS

A Nashville Technology Council Tech Talk
Thursday, January 16, 2020
Tech Hill Commons, Nashville, TN
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The data has spoken. Nearly 200 million people are getting their information from voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, and it’s time businesses built a presence on top of these platforms and started using voice-based apps to streamline their marketing and operations, and increase efficiency and effectiveness. Whether delivering a voice-based version of your company’s website so your audience can interact while walking the dog, an interactive extension of your company’s intranet that employees can check in on while waiting in line at the store, or a training for your sales force that they can take while driving, the possibilities are endless.

Paul Hickey, CEO of Data Driven Design, a Nashville-based digital agency that builds Multimodal Voice Apps for Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as Websites and Custom Software, will walk attendees through how to design, develop and deploy voice-based apps for all Alexa and Google Assistant devices, including those with screens like the Echo Show and Google Hub.

It’s time to integrate voice into your business strategy, and save time, reduce friction, and meet your audience where they are.
