When you surround yourself with good people, both from a supervisor, employee, business partner, client, vendor and any other professional relationship standpoint, you're able to get more done, be more productive and solve problems easily that otherwise would be super difficult and full of friction.

This is why, in about 85% of the emails I write and 100% of the invoices I sent out, I include "Thank you for your partnership and teamwork."

It's not a throwaway phrase like "sincerely," "best," or "thanks," ... It is NOT part of my email signature, nor any templated communications. There is true meaning behind it. Because without true partnership and teamwork, with great people, possibilities are drastically limited.

Here's a recent real life example.

I just sent out an email stating that I'd be presenting at a Nashville Technology Council Tech Talk on January 16, 2020, called Voice Apps For Business. It's so fresh off the presses that at the time I'm writing this, it's still actually on our website. I have to change it right after I publish this.

The reality is, I'll be at Project Voice, the number 1 event for Voice Tech and AI at the exact same time as this NTC Tech Talk.

Those of you who know me well enough may understand my high level of confidence in being able to pull this off, but the reality is, I can't clone myself and be in two places at once, and even if I could, it wouldn't really be the right thing to do.

Thankfully, I've been able to team and partner with amazing people in all aspects. In this example...

  1. on the Project Voice planning side
  2. on the NTC planning side
  3. on the Data Driven Design side

What could have been a huge issue is now solved, thanks to everyone's partnership and teamwork.

  1. I'll be at Project Voice in Chattanooga all week, from January 13-17 - Not presenting at the Nashville Technology Council on January 16.
  2. Allen Willis, our amazing VP of Digital Strategy and Web Design will be presenting on January 16 in my place, on a revised subject matter topic (Data Driven Digital Strategy Workshop). More information on that is here.
  3. I'll be presenting my originally planned Voice Apps for Business at the Nashville Technology Council on August 20.

More information on all events below. There are specific people I'd like to thank, but I think you know who you are. Thanks again for your partnership and teamwork.

Paul

Thanks for reading, watching and listening, and have a great day!

KEEP MARKETING!

Paul Hickey, Founder / CEO / Lead Strategist at Data Driven Design, LLC and founder of Nashville Voice Conference, has created and grown businesses via digital strategy and internet marketing for more than 15 years. His sweet spot is using analytics to design and build websites and grow the audience and revenue of businesses via SEO/Blogging, Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads, Social Media Content Marketing, Email Marketing and most recently, Voice App Design and Development - Alexa Skills and Google Actions. The part that he’s most passionate about is quantifying next marketing actions based on real data.

Project Voice, as a conference, is uniquely organized to juxtapose the major ecosystems (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, and Microsoft Cortana), with The Voice World Fair running across the entire essential week.

Executives, marketers, developers, designers, strategists, consultants, VCs, media, and analysts will attend. Over 3,000 highly-qualified attendees across 15-20 countries.
Every organization and every individual - no matter your industry or sector - will find Project Voice of great interest, and of immense value.
Data Driven Design CEO Paul Hickey will present twice at Project Voice, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Data Driven Design VP of Digital Strategy and Web Design Allen Willis will provide actionable insights for improved SEO and Website Conversion Optimization, as well as basic best practices to make it easier to design, develop and manage your digital presence. Business Owners need all the help they can get, and many simply don?t have the budget to pay agencies to make basic website updates or do Local SEO. If you are a business owner, start-up founder, entrepreneur, or even a marketer or IT person at a mid-size company with a small marketing department, this free workshop is for you. You will learn data driven digital strategy to help your business in 2020 and beyond. Learn how to implement the best practices in your Website and Social Media Presence for SEO and increased quality traffic and leads. Use data to make decisions and become empowered to improve your digital presence regardless of technical skills or knowledge.

The data has spoken. Nearly 200 million people are getting their information from voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, and it's time businesses built a presence on top of these platforms and started using voice-based apps to streamline their marketing and operations, and increase efficiency and effectiveness. Whether delivering a voice-based version of your company's website so your audience can interact while walking the dog, an interactive extension of your company's intranet that employees can check in on while waiting in line at the store, or a training for your sales force that they can take while driving, the possibilities are endless.

Paul Hickey, CEO of Data Driven Design, a Nashville-based digital agency that builds Multimodal Voice Apps for Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as Websites and Custom Software, will walk attendees through how to design, develop and deploy voice-based apps for all Alexa and Google Assistant devices, including those with screens like the Echo Show and Google Hub.

It's time to integrate voice into your business strategy, and save time, reduce friction, and meet your audience where they are.
